Conservation Area decision

Suddenly in November the decision on the Conservation areas around Farnborough Hill and Farnborough North station were approved by the Conservative cabinet at Rushmoor council. This review was split into two areas. The Farnborough Hill area now
protects the land around Farnborough Hill but we were disappointed that Highgate Lane and Chingford Avenue
were removed. Areas around Farnborough North station were dealt with in a separate review and contain roads around the
station with some new development r o a d s removed.
We still did not receive any details as to why these reviews were needed and what this might mean for the future of the area.
