Aldershot Constituency Liberal Democrats have selected their Parlimentary Candidate for the General Election in 2015. Alan Hilliar a well known local Liberal Democrat gave a thought provoking speech at the selection meeting. An extract from his speech is below:
Saturday 28th June saw a fun evening for those attending. Despite heavy rain in the afternoon the Annual Duck Race went ahead with three races taking place. A well attended Duck Race was followed with a pleasant BBQ evening. Our next social evening is on 9th August see the events page for details.
Local Liberal Democrats in the Rushmoor local party recently enjoyed a fun Skittle evening in the North Farnborough area. A good attendance enjoyed a healthy skittle competition which ended with a draw of four competitors in first place. These four competed in a shoot out to find a final winner. During the evening a good fish and chip supper was enjoyed along with a raffle. Our next social evening will be in June with the annual Duck race and BBQ.
