SAVE Minley Home Farm from DEMOLITION

The MoD wishes to demolish the historic Minley Home Farm and build a concrete shelter on the site. The Save Minley Home Farm campaign is seeking to work with national heritage organisations, local residents associations and local and national media to stop demolition, get Minley Home Farm listed by Historic England and lead the discussion on how the site may be rebuilt and repurposed for the benefit of the wider community. Open letter delivered to Aldershot MP

Rushmoor Liberal Democrats are calling upon Aldershot MP Leo Docherty to stand up and call for Boris to leave. Cllr Thomas Mitchell said "Boris Johnson is ripping to shreds our already broken political system. The fact that he is able to give misleading statements to the public, time and time again without consequence is not just damaging now, It sets an appalling precedence for future governments."

Conservation area review

Rushmoor council is reviewing Conservation areas within the borough. The councils overview document states that a conservation area is an area of special architectural or historic interest, the character or appearance of which it is desirable to preserve or enhance. The designation does not prohibit development, but rather seeks to ensure that any changes are in keeping with the area's special character.
